GREETINGS, ASSIGNEE
Welcome to District 122... August 28, 2081.
The district has found an uneasy truce with the Ministry after a political standoff. Through the formation of an effective civilian militia, they have effectively disbarred the Ministry of Justice from further incursions, and its citizens rest easy knowing that sentences cannot be delivered to the relevant residents.
Ministry owned facilities will begin to decay due to lack of maintenance, and criminal conviction rates drop from the once incredible 99% of 2079 to a mere 91%. Should other districts follow suit, it will spell disaster for the future of the Ministry of Justice.
The time: 0030 sharp. The networking grid of District 122 goes dark. Militia radio in and silence greets them in return. A foul stench of rotten flesh and burning metal fills the air. Static screams ring out without an answer.
Make no mistake, they forced our hand today.

ABOUT THE GAME
E.C.C.: Enhanced Combat Cadavers is a procedural stealth game set in a decaying cyberpunk cityscape. Your sole mission is to hunt down various VIPs within a local and illegally formed government. Your window of opportunity is slim, and the mission will be costly. Thankfully, your operators today are no stranger to a life-and-death scenario.
Step into the rotting shoes of an army of undead convicts, brought back to life as expendable soldiers as punishment for dying midway through their jail sentence.
BACK FROM RETIREMENT
Play from a random pool of operators resurrected through the wonders of modern science in order to carry out a dangerous mission. Every Cadaver that successfully hunts down a VIP and brings their Clearance Codes to the Ministry of Justice will have their remaining sentence pardoned. Those that fail will have their sentence passed along to next of kin in order to achieve "Justice Equilibrium."
CONTACT!
Stay out of sight if you want to stay alive. Your rotting body can only take so much punishment, and machines can't fix what time and age has already taken from you. If you want to complete this mission, you'll need to use every Combat Cadaver to its fullest potential. Every successful retrieval will net you a new Cadaver shell to make use of as you carry out your war against the rebels.
